Stephen Mok is co-Founder and CEO of New Vintage Labs. He works on a question the wine industry needs to answer: what does AI need before it can be useful inside a winery? He set aside a year and his own savings to work alongside wineries before building anything, then moved to Napa. Stephen leads the New Vintage platform, which unifies a winery’s data and gives any AI tool a working knowledge of what that data means. He previously led product management at a firm building software for venture-backed founders and Fortune 100 teams. Stephen has built with AI daily since 2022 and shares hard-earned lessons about where it helps under-resourced teams and where it produces confident nonsense.
