As Founder and CEO of New Vintage—an applied AI lab testing practical solutions for wine businesses—Stephen has spent the past 2.5 years in the trenches. Building automations. Creating prototypes. His path to technology wasn’t linear. Early sales roles taught him the fundamentals: build trust, uncover needs, deliver value. In Seattle, he led product management at a 100-person agency, transforming executive visions into market-ready products for venture-backed startups. He made complex telecom solutions accessible. He improved America’s broadband infrastructure mapping. Each role sharpened the same skill: translating technical complexity into business results.

Now Stephen channels that experience into a singular focus. He doesn’t claim to have all the answers about AI; he is simply asked a lot of the questions. His message to wine executives is direct: Start experimenting now. Get things wrong. Find what works. Because the gap between AI adopters and non-adopters widens daily.
